The Food Business has certification for the quality management system, in particular all the work of managing the Whey Centre, maintaining regional cheesemaking units and the design of plant for the dairy and cheesemaking industry is planned and documented in accordance with ISO 9001:2000 standards.

The Quality Management System is a state of mind through which all company processes are optimised in terms of research, innovation and technological development, and this is a key factor in the control of all activities ensuring highly competitive customer satisfaction and a good company climate.

The decision to obtain certification for our working procedures originated not only from external requirements (obligations, contractual requirements, image promotion, etc.) but from an inner need to make objective checks on methods of operation, identifying and removing problems and divergences from preset objectives, to push the company towards continuous improvement.

The quality management system is the means whereby company requirements are integrated and aligned with our customers' implicit and explicit requirements; in particular the organisation does not impose procedures and working methods but suggests solutions and ways of working which are taken up by individuals, made their own and improved by joint agreement through a process of continuous improvement.
Human resources in fact interact to make the best use of the material resources which the company makes available to them, to satisfy customer's requirements and needs with high quality products at all times.

The Management has the task of examining its own organisation and evaluating the tools available for defining objectives.
